When I was at university, we had courses in, and then access to, a letterpress studio. My friends all preferred the photography or screenprinting studios, but I loved letterpress. There was just something about the methodical arranging of all the type and the physical loading up of the paper – you can’t buy therapy like that. I got really carried away, printing on fabric and all sorts, while my tutor just shook his head, tutted and drank cups of tea.

So, it was great to see this video of a working letterpress studio – Trip Print Press. The process was filmed by the talented people at Brought To You By.
