Saw this great programme on BBC2 last night; well presented by Peter Jones, it charted the rise of two very different entrepeneurs – Michelle Mone, owner of Ultimo and Richard Reed, co-owner of Innocent Drinks. With behind-the-scenes looks at their business headquarters and their employer styles, it was very interesting to see what has motivated these two entrepeneurs to become the successes they are today. Having just posted on Innocent Drinks, I was pleased to see that the fun encapsulated in their products and marketing materials is an intrinsic part of their business ethos. Michelle’s slant was her difficult childhood, which is a very emotive story. Both entrepeneurs had very different driving factors to their present success and both are to be admired in different ways.
